It was January 7th, 2008, when Mozilla reported that the Corporation is going with an appointment of chief operating officer John Lilly as its CEO, effective immediately.Along with this, Mozilla also announced that Mitchell Baker, Mozilla’s  CEO that time, would continue as Chairman and a full-time executive of the corporation.It’s said that “John Lilly is the right person to guide the maturation of Mozilla,” said Mitchell Baker, Chairman of Mozilla Corporation. “John has been instrumental in developing an organization that is both embedded in Mozilla and open-source DNA and that can function at the extremely high degree of effectiveness that our setting requires.”

The Outgrowing Vista Sales

Internet News says that Microsoft brought in $16.37 billion in revenues and $6.48 billion in operating income for the quarter ended Dec. 31. Further, the company raised its guidance on its predictions for the full year for financial analysts. Further it’s also being said that the company is on target to bring in annual revenue in the range of $59.9 billion to $60.5 billion, and $24.2 billion to $24.4 billion in operating profits.

Some Memories……!

This will go off topic today if I’m going to talk not about technology.This is a bit personal more social and much more educational, one of the memories of British Council University Student Projects. It was a Video Conferencing Session with the students of UK. A good experience and a great session to learn and exchange information not only about cultures societies, politics of both countries, but a lot about people.

It was about an year back, but the memories are still green. The session was a short one, but placed some deep marks on my thoughts in fact. I think, such kind of sessions are very helpful for youth to have interaction with people of same age group and interests. Not only cultures are explained but thoughts, innovations and ideas, and that’s the way to make a difference in this global village.

Walking On The Road Of Technology

It’s time that we’re almost eating technology, i.e. having all of our activities dependent on technology, from domestic concerns to industrial setups. Internet being a revolutionary tool for this mush sped up technology stays in the center. It’s time when we’ve everything on it, from printer ink to hundred million dollar deal, everything is just at single clicks distance.

Every road has many stops, but the technology road doesn’t seem to have any, instead it sound that it has a router sort of something at each stop that boosts it to a greater extent, and that’s why it ’s rocking. Thinking about the end of this road doesn’t give any clear clue, but the misuse of it. Misuse and probably over use can let it fall down, and that’s what requires sustainability. What actually brings that sustainability is another question that may be prolonged with pros and cons, but in a nutshel, it all depends on people how they make it best for them.

What will be the end of this technology road? Well, it’s just a simple thought for me right now, and certainly will get complex as I start thinking more about it!

According to game design school, the revenue from computer games is more than that of the Hollywood box office. So I think, people who want to become Hollywood stars should also think about becoming a game designer/developer!

Well, this is just my thought, and not necessarily everyone agrees with it, but it’s really an interesting thing to find out an industry that has outgrown at such faster pace. It was sometimes back that I’ve found gaming as one of the most active part of mobile content as well, i.e. games are the highly demanded mobile content.

Gaming, I think, is so much active because it’s relatively easier to access, one doesn’t need to go out for it, and on other hand it helps individuals to make some bucks as well. Well, whatever the reasons are behind the scene, gaming is at top!
