Requirements Of A Successful Career

February 25, 2008

Almost everyone wants to excel in his particular career, regardless of the nature of career, but do all succeed? I think, no! Because, excellence in career does need some basics, i.e. career based education, cooperative faculty, guidance of experienced and successful people, a stimulating educational and later professional environment, and above all opportunities. This is what I read once at http://www.gibbsmelville.edu/ and later I experienced the same.

I’ve studied many different courses in my academics, i.e. Education, Business, Finance, Economics, IT, human Resources, Philosophy, Politics etc, but the education that helped me in my career doesn’t include all of them. And, I think, if I’d have missed the part of guidance from the experienced faculty and other fellows, the success won’t have come either. And, the environment of course, played a vital role in the process of development.

Role Of Technology In Design & Creativity Development

February 25, 2008

Design, arts and technology have a very close relation, but most of the time it’s not considered or not given that much importance by people. Ignorance of relativity may stand a reason, but access to the right medium matters more. The widespread use of Internet has though solved this problem, but room for improvement is still there. Well, moving the topic ahead, I’ve come across some online resources providing guideline for professional design careers, like one here.

It’s very helpful to have guidance from professionals and be updated with the latest innovations in the field with proper use of technology, so that creativity and skills get the right direction. I totally agree that design skills and aptitude is something natural or God gifted, but there’s many people not that much successful, even while having all this. The reason that I could figure out is nothing other than lack of guidance or they have not kept their selves updated with latest trends and command over new methods.

Keep Yourself Updated & Have Secure Online Activities

February 14, 2008

I’ve written few posts about PC security lately, but each time I tried to write something, I came to know a new thing. For instance, each time I found a different kind of virus, that works in completely different way, and of course needs regular update in your knowledge about anti-virus software. It’s the most horrible experience I had; spending lots of time and of course money, on getting rid of viruses and sometime hackers on some of my other blogs. I’ve always been in search of some reliable solution for such things, and so kept on searching the new avenues of World Wide Web.
Well Norton™, the world’s leading internet security provider, and a very reliable name have been my focus of attention and lately when I found BT NetProtect, an antivirus software provider joining hand with Norton, it was obvious to explore the site and find what actually it’s offering.
It’s was a sort of deep satisfaction finding BT Netprotect a real online security manager. The best thing you’ll find here is that it updates you with the latest virus threats, so that you can have precautionary measures, and besides that it’s a knowledgebase of internet security featuring latest security options.
If you want to be away from viruses, hackers, and want to surf the web with real peace of mind, do find such resources and keep yourself updated.

Setting Up Smooth Online Store With Shopping Carts

February 14, 2008

One of the basic requirements of today’s merchants as they are on World Wide Web is e commerce software. Shopping cart software help merchants to set up a smooth business, but same can create a problem if it’s not reliable. So, a smooth business setup requires reliable shopping cart software. It’s no more difficult to find reliable e commerce software, as some top software providers like Ashop Commerce provide merchants with test drive shopping carts.

What I think, one should look for while purchasing shopping cart software includes quality tested by a fair good number of satisfied users, good support, and constant upgrades. This is what makes a reliable shopping cart, and help you run your online store smoothly. Though hosting and other website elements can be separately maintained, but if a service provides you with such additional setups for your site along with the shopping cart it’s more convenient and business gets organized in much professional way.

If you’re planning to start an online store, then you must consider all the elements that make up a well managed online store, as mentioned above.

Basics Of Domain Registration

February 13, 2008

In present days, domain registration though not that difficult, but may be a tough decision for some people. It’s because many times they don’t get the exact domain they’ve been looking for, and or someone else has registered that domain and is asking for some higher prices for the same. There may be some other reasons like, one has got a .biz domain with the TLD of his own choice, but he has nothing to do with biz, it was just to maintain his favorite TLD. In such case better would be to read some stuff about choosing a domain name.

Besides the webmaster forums, and blogs telling about hosting and domain, it’s good to visit and explore the sites like one mentioned above. This helps to you have direct experience. Like instead of asking people what domain you should go for use the tools here on site to check if the domain name is available or not. This is more secure and authentic way of getting domain of your choice, i.e. asking people may make them to register your required domain so that they can sell you that one on higher prices later, while here you can check all possible combinations and available options and can get your desired one on less price.

If you’re going to register a domain for you, choose the secure and authentic ways!

Microsoft To Borrow For First Time In Its History: Ohh Yahoo Deal!

February 6, 2008

Znet reports that Microsoft said on Monday it may borrow money for the first time in its history to fund a portion of its $44.6bn (£22.7bn) unsolicited offer for Yahoo.

share-yahoo.gifMicrosoft also reports that it expects Yahoo’s board to agree to the proposed deal quickly. It’s Yahoo, however, that expects to take “quite a bit of time” to weigh all of its strategic options including remaining independent. Further, a source familiar with Yahoo’s strategy said it is considering a business alliance with Google to fend off Microsoft’s offer.
