In modern times there’re risks everywhere. Some risks are those you can’t do anything for, but in many cases you’ve the options for security. System security is something everyone is looking for, and is affordable too as far as it’s free.

Many pay a high amount for it too, and rest look for free antivirus software since free versions do all basic functions to give you better protection. There’re many names in anti virus industry, but one name everyone knows about is AVG. Being one of the most popular and one of the best free antivirus software products, AVG doesn’t need any detailed introduction.

AVG has a very polished user interface and is easy and comfortable to use. AVG detects both viruses and spyware in the free edition. However, the detection rate is a little lower than Avast or Avira, but no worries; it contains most of what you really want.

The main thing that makes AVG more famous than other free anti virus software available in the market is the amount of functionality available in free edition. Others don’t have that much features in free versions, but from spyware detection point of view it rates a bit lower than Avast and Avira.

Keep Yourself Updated & Have Secure Online Activities

February 14, 2008

I’ve written few posts about PC security lately, but each time I tried to write something, I came to know a new thing. For instance, each time I found a different kind of virus, that works in completely different way, and of course needs regular update in your knowledge about anti-virus software. It’s the most horrible experience I had; spending lots of time and of course money, on getting rid of viruses and sometime hackers on some of my other blogs. I’ve always been in search of some reliable solution for such things, and so kept on searching the new avenues of World Wide Web.
Well Norton™, the world’s leading internet security provider, and a very reliable name have been my focus of attention and lately when I found BT NetProtect, an antivirus software provider joining hand with Norton, it was obvious to explore the site and find what actually it’s offering.
It’s was a sort of deep satisfaction finding BT Netprotect a real online security manager. The best thing you’ll find here is that it updates you with the latest virus threats, so that you can have precautionary measures, and besides that it’s a knowledgebase of internet security featuring latest security options.
If you want to be away from viruses, hackers, and want to surf the web with real peace of mind, do find such resources and keep yourself updated.
