Do Not Make Silly Mistakes While Applying For Car Financing

November 15, 2009

There may be many mistakes while having car financing, depending on the situation, but most commonly there’s one big mistake. Well, it’s when buyers buy a new car without checking online auto loan rates. And, if you know that your credit history can support getting an auto loan, and still you do not look into it, you’re making a mistake.

Well, as a buyer you can get the cheap auto loan rates, if your credit history has been up to the requirements. Randomly applying for new car financing and not knowing your credit score is not just a mistake, but silliest mistake. The free annual report that you get is not useful until credit score is included in it. So, be wise and do proper research before applying for auto loans by searching online as well as being updated with your credit score.

Internet In Car

November 9, 2009

gm_autonet

Available next month, GM’s AutoNet will let you literally install a WiFi hotspot in your car.  The unit plus installation will cost $500 and there will be a monthly charge of $30 for a 1GB cap.  There is also a 5GB cap offered but no price is known as of now.

The range will last up to a radius of 150 feet away from you car and would be great for camping, tailgating, and beyond.  You could even have traveling video game competitions in your SUV while you drive from Inglewood to Compton.

Minimizing Air Conditioning Can Make Your Car Fuel Efficient

October 31, 2009

Air condition in your car is great, especially when you’re driving in hot summers. According to approximations, it may increase your fuel consumption by 20%. If possible, close all windows and use the air vents to circulate air instead of air conditioning.

Minimizing your air conditioning use during summers can save lot of money from fuel. If you must have to use the air conditioning, better is to set the controls to a level whereby the system cycle turns it off once the interior of car is cooled down enough. Sunroof and tinted glass to keep the car cool can also be used as some of alternatives.

Mazda Taiki Concept Unveiled

July 5, 2008

The concept is an evolution of the previous Mazda concept cars, Nagare, Ryuga and Hakaze. The Taiki also features a next-generation rotary engine and enhanced aerodynamic performance (note the rear wheels). More importantly the overall design of the Taiki could provide a possible design direction for future Mazda sports cars.

The new RENESIS rotary engine is dubbed the 16X, most likely for its increased displacement to 1.6L from the 1.3L unit in the current RX-8. It is a twin-rotor unit (800cc x 2) that sends the power to the rear wheels. The new engine is supposed to have a wider torque band and greater fuel efficiency.

Combining this proprietary power plant with a lightweight, aerodynamic body and the best handling systems available SSC delivers a vehicle that not only eclipses all other cars but stands OFFICIALLY as the ‘World’s Fastest Production Car’.
