Washable Keyboard Technology

October 20, 2008

The keyboard is maybe one of the most dirty objects in the house. Greasy fingers, food, pieces of skin and and not being clean can make this accessory a “bacterial bomb”. The only way to clean the surface of the keyboard is to take out each key, individually clean it, then reassemble it. At this point, each one of us starts to think about buying a new one…But Unotron gives a solution: the new Washable Keyboard.

If we are to use water or any other type of liquid to clean the keyboard….well, the damage would be permanent. But the Washable Keyboard has SpillSeal technology that protects it from liquids and makes it easy to wash even in the tap water from your sink.

Unotron also produces a washable mouse and the Smartcard reader, two PC accessories that aren’t as filthy as the keyboard but sometimes need to be washed as well…

October 20, 2008

After the development of gaming chairs that move according to the games action and computer beds designed so that you end up being a “computer potato” and never see anything else weather you’re awake or sleeping, now G-Tech Neber releases a chair that confirms the theory that sitting correctly on a chair is so overrated.

This new SciFi chair is at present on show in Korea. The design includes so much chrome, that it actually looks like one of those Matrix chairs – you don’t have to take the blue pill.

The company says that, giving so much support to the back, head, hands, wrists, back and feet, the chair is completely ergonomical. Also, having the curved back, the chair gives you the opportunity to seat in any position you want. Just look at the picture, it looks so cool!

Flyclear Card

October 20, 2008

All of us who have been on a plane know about how long you have to wait before you can board because of the annoyingly thorough check-ups you have to pass before you can go on your trip. But from now on you can leave all those controls behind thanks to the new Flyclear card. And it only costs $99.95 a year and the fee for TSA of $28.

To get one, you have to go to a Clear center and present two official identification cards. Then you have to take a photo and give them your biometric information. They suggest that you should have a US passport, but foreign people are welcomed to.

So now you can eliminate the stress from your plane trips, not worry about those hidden pierces and miss a lot less planes. The Flyclear has already been put into function but for very few airports like Orlando, San Jose and JFK and the service is not available all day long. But there are plans to expand this technology.

Connext – A Glance Into The Future World Of Gadgets!

October 3, 2008

Have you ever wondered if in the future you’ll still have to carry along with you, your watch, your mobile phone, DPA or PMP? The answer is simple: NO, because you’ll have at your disposal gadgets that will replace very well all your past gadgets and a lot more.

An example of these future gadgets is the one conceived by James Zhang, ‘Connext’, now it’s only in profile fase, based on a modern interface, great design and high functions all that made for making the owner’s life easier.

It has an OLED display in the centre bounded by flexible and sensitive facets when pressing or moving, these facets are actually playing the role of the well known keys or buttons. So we have a completely ductile electronical device which can adapt at any of the owners desires.

By choosing the right function of the menu, Connext becomes a computer, a multimedia player, a personal assistant, a mobile phone or a console for different games.

Also to make it more handily, the gadget can easily become a simply watch by approaching it to your wrist.
New concepts are always interesting. Probably for the people that lived in the 50?s, it would have fascinated them to have their own computer just like we are fascinated now by this new gadget Connext. One thing is for sure, technology is evolving rapidly, and the necessity of an all-in-one product which can be carried along easily, that must also have a great look, is more than obvious.
